Honey, our labrador retriever, had 5 puppies! Two brown (one male, one female), two yellow (again, one male, one female), and one black male. All are perfect teeny tiny labradors. Blind and virtually deaf, they sound kind of exactly like the neighbours are having really dirty sex just next door.
Noah (who is two and a half) has not voluntarily left the puppies since he met them after coming home from nursery yesterday. He's quite fond.
Evan (21 months old) thinks they are quite interesting, but not quite as interesting as Noah's fire truck/torch, which coincidentally, he has had a lot more use of since Noah has been on puppy watch.
Still, it is early days. The first puppy was born yesterday (April 2, 2008) at 12:35 and the last puppy gushed its way into the world around 14:35. Honey acted a pro this time around and she had no problems. She even appeared happy and smiling throughout the labour and births. Stupid dog. Little does she know what she's in for!
