Last time Honey had puppies, I posted a pic on Facebook (as you do) and my friend Melon left a comment saying that the puppy looked like a manatee. It was true. They also kind of look like fuzzy beached whales. They sound, however, more like guinea pigs being tortured with a cattle prod. They only time they go quiet is after a good feed and that's only for a few minutes to sleep off the binge before the hunt for food is on again. Ahh what a life!
Honey will leave them briefly for food or water but eats so fast she chokes. I'd have taken her for her normal beach walk but am pretty sure she'd remember her puppies a third of the way in and totally flip out.
I've let Noah and Evan both stroke a puppy under her watchful eye. She acts like my mother-in-law did when I had Evan, not trusting anything I do and never taking her eyes off me for a second. Where's the trust!?
