Man, time flies when you are so busy you hardly have time to sit down!
The puppies started opening their eyes yesterday. They still look blind. The difference in their sizes now is almost unreal with the black dog being almost twice the size of the brown bitch. Blackie is a fattie. Seriously.
Their routine is still completely sleeping and eating with the occasional molesting by the kids, visitors and us but they mostly spend that time looking for nipples and then giving up and passing out shortly thereafter.
Honey ate something down by the beach yesterday when I wasn't paying attention and has since had violent digestive issues. I woke last night to the most powerful, horrible smell I think I have ever smelled in my life. Assuming it was my partner (HA!) I covered my nose with my blanket and went back to sleep. But when my baby woke up at 6 am needing to be tucked in, I very nearly walked straight into the most massive pile of dog excrement I have ever seen in my life. Thanx Honey. Anyone out there thinking of getting a dog, THINK CAREFULLY! Dogs are gross.
